Damascus and I spent most every Monday after school writing music. Sometimes he would have an idea and we'd write from his idea, or vice-versa. Sometimes we'd just start from scratch and feed off of each others creativity. Yes, we'd be exhausted between Damascus' wrestling, boxing, and school! And many times I'd be teaching at 7:00 am, Home to write with Damascus, and then I'd be off to a gig. But through the exhaustion of the day came beautiful music and friendship!
